Instructions

    • 1

Remove the wallpaper from the walls. Lay some towels down on the ground below the wall area you start working on. These will catch any drips or falling water and vinegar, and protect your floors.

    • 2

Fill a bucket with hot water. Add 1 cup of white vinegar and mix throughly. Fill a spray bottle with the mixture.

    • 3

Spray the entire wall with the spray bottle mixture. Allow it to sit for 10 minutes.

    • 4

Dip a sponge in the water and vinegar bucket. Wipe the glue spots. You may have to do a bit of rough rubbing or scrubbing.

    • 5

Take your scraper and scrape off any lingering glue. Wipe the sponge across the wall again to clean surface. Rinse the sponge and empty the bucket.

    • 6

Refill the bucket with hot water. Soak the sponge in it and wipe down the walls. Dry with towels and that's it! You now have clean walls to redecorate, so have fun.

Tips & Warnings

  • Take your time and let the vinegar soak in for a few minutes.

  • Be careful not to scrape the wall too hard because if you're too rough you might remove chunks of it.
