How to Make a Pimm's Cup Cocktail
When you think summer, Great Britain usually doesn't come to mind as an iconic destination, but the British (maybe in hopes of attracting warmer weather) have created the ultimate summer cocktail: the Pimm's Cup. I love it because you can accessorize it with fruits and vegetables to make it a different experience every time. Here's how. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- Pimm's No. 1
- Lemonade
- Lemon Soda (like Sprite or 7up)
- Pitchers
- Sliced fruits and vegetables
- Small bowls
- Small tongs
- Ice bucket and ice
- Highball glasses
- Printed recipe
- Picture frame

Visualize a cocktail buffet set up where guests can help themselves and create their own cocktail.

Fill pitchers with Pimm's No. 1, lemonade and lemon soda. Set the Pimm's at one end of the table being used as the bar, and the lemonade and lemon soda at the other end.

Prepare and cut a variety of fruits and vegetables like: sliced cucumber, mint leaves, lavender flowers, orange wedges, sliced strawberries, whole raspberries, blueberries, sliced fennel, lemons wheels and lime wedges.

Fill small bowls with the prepared fruits and vegetables and place them in the middle of the bar table. Use small tongs and spoons as serving utensils.

Place highball glasses on a large tray at the beginning of the buffet, and an ice filled bucket next to them.

Frame printed instructions so guests know what to do, for example:
1. Fill glass with ice.
2. Add one part Pimm's.
3. Fill glass with fruits and vegetables.
4. Top with lemonade or lemon soda.
