How to Play Pimp Daddy Poker

There are many different home variations of poker. The World Series of Poker has made Texas Holdem and poker in general very popular. When players get tired of the traditional Texas Holdem game, they start looking for home poker variations. One of the more popular is Follow The Queen. Pimp Daddy is a variation of poker built off of Follow The Queen.

How To Play Pimp Daddy Poker

1. Gather three to five opponents to play in your home poker game and make sure each player has a seat and plenty of poker chips to begin the Pimp Daddy Poker game.

2. Deal two cards face up to each player. After this initial deal, each player has the option to bet starting with the player to the left of the dealer.

3. Deal one card face up to each player after that first round of bettring. The only wild card to begin the game of Pimp Daddy Poker are queens. If a queen is dealt face up, the queen remains wild and so is the card dealt immediately after the queen. If a king shows up face up, it cancels all other wild cards, including the queens. Yet, if at some point after the king is dealt face up, another queen is dealt face up the queen and the following card are wild again. The effect of kings and queens remains the same during all face up cards.

4. Place bets after each round of face up cards are dealt. There will be four face up cards dealt to each player. If the final card dealt face up is a queen, then only queens are wild. If the final face up card is a king, only kings are wild. If the final face up card is neither a king or queen, wild cards remain as they were before that final face up card.

5. Begin another round of betting after the final face up card is dealt. After that round of betting the final card for each player is dealt face down. After that final face down card there is another betting round. After that, all players remaining in the hand show their cards and declare their hand. The highest hand wins the pot.

6. Deal the next hand, with the player to the left of the previous dealer being chosen to deal this hand.

Tips & Warnings

• The game is called Pimp Daddy Poker because of the value of the king cards in this game. They can ruin someone's hand that had multiple wild cards before the king was dealt face up.
• It is best to set a betting limit per betting round in Pimp Daddy Poker before you deal the first hand of the game.
