Things You'll Need
- A loaf pan
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- ½ cup sugar
- Two small jars mandarin oranges
- Small apple
- ½ cup chopped walnuts
- One 8 oz. package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup frozen whipped topping

Chop strawberries and mix with sugar. Set aside.

Take frozen whipped topping out of freezer.

Wait 10 minutes to proceed with process.

Chop mandarin oranges. Save 1/3 cup juice.

Beat the orange juice with the cream cheese until light.

Add the oranges, strawberries and walnuts.

Mix in frozen whipped topping.

Put mixture into the loaf pan and freeze overnight.

Allow salad to sit for 15 minutes before turning it out of the pan.

Tips & Warnings
This recipe also fills a 5 cup mold (perhaps in a heart shape for Valentine’s Day) or can be used for individual molds. The salad looks particularly attractive served on a dark lettuce like Romaine.
If you plan to freeze this recipe longer than overnight, be sure to wrap the entire loaf pan in heavy duty aluminum foil.
