Acne is a generic term that is used to describe pimples, whiteheads, blackheads, and cysts. Living with acne is paralyzing. It can damage your confidence and self esteem. The follow is a remedy that worked for me.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Gentle facial cleanser. (I use Noxema)
  • A facial toner
  • An acne cream
  • A facial moisturizer (VERY Important)
  1. Step 1
    noxema facial cleanser

Wash your first gently with the cleanser of your choice. Do not use a towel to wash your face, only your hands. Rinse with cool water. Pat your face dry with a towel. DO NOT rub your face, this will only irritate it further. Use a cotton ball to lightly apply the toner. Allow your face to completely dry.

  2. Step 2
    neutrogena spot treatment

After your face is dry, usual about 5 or 10 minutes, I usually brush my teeth while waiting, apply the acne cream over your entire face. Don't be afraid to apply the cream generously. Try to be as gentle as possible, avoiding the area around your eyes. Allow the cream to completely dry. Usually 5 or 10 minutes.

  3. Step 3
    facial creme

Last step and a very necessary step to avoid peeling due to dry skin, is to moisturize. Apply the moisturizer to your entire face. I use "Retinol" because it's good for acne as well.
    You CAN have clear skin!

Tips & Warnings
  • Follow these steps twice a day. Once in the morning and before bedtime.

  • It takes about a week to see a slight difference and about 6 to 8 weeks before your skin will be completely blemish free.
  • Do not get weary and give up!
  • Acne is not caused by eating chocolate.
  • Acne is not due to a lack of cleanliness.
  • If you fail to moisturize your skin will be extremely dry from the acne products. You must moisturize.
  • Your face may feel dry, itching or irritated during the first week or two. This will go away once your skin gets use to the regimens. DO NOT GIVE UP!
