The crown head scarf style has a more complex look than other styles, but is just as simple to achieve. The finished look is beautiful and midieval-regal.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Large rectanugular scarf

    How to Tie a Headscarf in the Crown Style

  1. Step 1

    Lay the over your head with one side of the scarf hanging longer than the other side.

  2. Step 2

    Switch the two sides at the back of the base of your head and pull the scarf tight at both ends.

  3. Step 3

    Grab the longer side and twist it. Gently wrap it along the top of the crown of your head as you continue twisting.

  4. Step 4

    Tie the twisted end with the first end once the twisted end has gone up the crown of the head and reached the first end on the side of your head, toward the back. Gorgeous!

Tips & Warnings
  • If you don’t want the two ends hanging long, just twist them together and pass it behind your head. Then stick the ends securely into the “crown” that you made.
