Things You'll Need:
- Prepasted wallpaper
- Sponge
- Water
- Water or Paint Tray
- Scissors
-
Step 1
Cut the paper to the correct length with scissors. Fill the tray half way full with water.
-
Step 2
Soak the paper in the water. Gently bend a section of the paper back and attach it to the middle then back again and again so that the entire piece of paper is folded accordian style without any creases and lightly held to one another.
-
Step 3
Dampen the sponge. Pull back one section and place it at the top of the wall, aligned with the ceiling. Press the paper onto the wall. With the sponge press and stroke the paper on the wall. Make sure there are no creases, cracks, bubbles or tears.
-
Step 4
Pull back the next section from the folds. Press it down and with the sponge smooth the paper. Continue on with the rest of the wallpaper piece.
-
Step 5
Cut another piece of wallpaper and repeat steps two through four. Align the patterns so that it looks continuous to the eye from a short distance. Continue on like this until the walls are completely covered.

on 8/31/2009 Great Post! I always size the wall. This will give extra security for the paper to stay put. If you need help call me, if you are from San Diego...http://WallpaperingSanDiego.blogspot.com
