This recipe is all the fun without the fat. As if that were not enough, it is also quite simple to make. This article will explain how to make diet chocolate banana parfaits.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • 3/4 cup fat free whipped topping
  • 1 package fat-free sugar-free instant chocolate pudding
  • 2 cups chilled fat free skim milk
  • 2 medium bananas

Making Diet Chocoate Banana Parfaits

Step1
Pour the instant chocolate pudding mix into a medium bowl. Add the fat free milk and whisk vigorously until smooth and creamy. This will take two to three minutes. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to chill.
Step2
Cut the two medium bananas into slices and set aside. Separate the whipped cream into two small bowls--one containing 1/2 cup and the other containing 1/4 cup. Separate the chocolate pudding into two halves.
Step3
Divide one half of the chocolate pudding evenly among four dessert cups or glasses. Place banana slices on top of the chocolate pudding in each of the glasses. Equally distribute the 1/2 cup whipped topping among the four cups on top of the banana slices. Divide the remaining half of the pudding among the cups and top by equally dividing the 1/4 cup of remaining whipped topping.
Step4
You’re all finished! Garnish with a maraschino cherry if desired. You can serve immediately or refrigerate until needed. This recipe is 160 calories and 2 grams of fat per serving. Enjoy!

Tips & Warnings

  • If you are not a fan of chocolate, consider substituting vanilla (or any other flavor) fat free sugar free pudding mix for the chocolate.
