Choose which controller you wish to use. You can use the Wii remote with the nunchuck, the Wii remote turned on its side without a nunchuck, a Gamecube controller, or a classic controller.

To jump with the Wii remote with the nunchuck, you just have to simply hold the stick on the nunchuck up, or you have to press "C" on the nunchuck. You can't use "A" to jump, because that is used for fighting.

For the Wii remote turned on its side without a nunchuck, you can can press the up arrow on the "D" pad.

To use a Gamecube controller, like the Wii remote with the nunchuck, you have to hold the control stick up to jump. You can also hold the "y" button.
