You might think that making pizza dough is a difficult process, however it is one of the easier doughs to make. In this "how to" article it will show you how you and your family or friends can make super pizza in a very short time.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 3 1/2 cups of all purpose flour
  • 1 package of yeast
  • 1 cup of warm water
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 cup of vegetable oil or olive oil
  • Rolling pin
  • Pizza pan

    How to Make Pizza Dough

  1. Step 1

Begin with adding the one cup of warm water to the package of yeast. Mix well in a bowl, then set aside until all the dry ingredients are mixed.

  2. Step 2

Pour 3 1/2 cups of flour and 1 teaspoon of salt inside of a bowl and mix well. To get an even better dough, sift ingredients through a sifter.

  3. Step 3

Pour the flour mixture and the warm water with yeast mixture into one bowl. Add the 1/4 cup of oil, mixing all ingredients together until a dough ball is smoothed and formed.

  4. Step 4

Cover the bowl that the dough is in with a damp towel and sit in a warm place for at least one hour or until dough has doubled in size.

  5. Step 5

Take dough out of bowl once it has rested. Place onto a floured counter and knead for a few minutes. Sprinkle some flour on the dough and roll out into the shape you desire.

  6. Step 6

Freeze or refrigerate for up to a week until ready to use.

Tips & Warnings
  • Use wheat instead of all purpose flour for a healthier pizza.
  • Add a cup of shredded cheese to your dough for a tastier dough.
  • Add different herbs to your dough to give a different taste.
  • Do not store dough for more than a week inside refrigerator.
