Whether you've discovered you have a wheat allergy, or you're just trying to improve your overall health, you may have chosen at some point to go towards a gluten-free diet. Don't be scared, though - gluten free doesn't mean it has to taste bad, and there are a number of delicious snacks you can create. Here's how to make a tasty and healthy gluten-free party mix.

Things You'll Need:

  • 3 C. Kay's Naturals Better Balance Honey Almond Gluten-Free Cereal
  • 3 C. Health Valley Corn Crunchems cereal
  • 3 C. Health Valley Rice Crunchems cereal
  • 1 C. Kay's Naturals Gluten Free Butter Pretzels
  • 1 C. Frito Lay Salted Peanuts
  • 1/2 C. butter
  • 1 1/2 Tbs. gluten free seasoning salt
  • 1 1/2 Tbs. Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce

    How to Make Gluten Free Party Mix

  1. Step 1

    Preheat oven to 250 degrees.

  2. Step 2

    Combine cereals, pretzels, and salted peanuts in a large bowl. Melt the butter in your microwave, and mix in the seasoned salt and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until blended.

  3. Step 3

    Pour melted butter mixture over the cereal and pretzel mix, stirring to mix well so that each piece is coated.

  4. Step 4

    Spread mix on a cookie sheet, and place in the oven. Bake for an hour, stirring every 20 minutes. Remove from oven, pour mix out onto paper towels, and allow it to cool. Store in an airtight container.

Tips & Warnings
  • The above items are all listed as gluten free on the companies' websites, but you can substitute any other brand of gluten free products for the ones in this recipe.
  • Because some companies change recipes periodically, you should always look at the item's ingredient list to see if the product is still gluten free.
