How to Pull an April Fools Day Joke Using a Water Filter and Alcohol

When springtime comes, many people begin planning an April Fools Day joke. However, one must always worry that the joke will not actually fool anybody. The important part of an April Fools Day joke is the element of surprise. Here is how to pull an April Fools Day joke using a water filter and alcohol.

Things You’ll Need:

• Two Water Filters and a Pitcher
• Clear alcohol

1. First, take your friend out for a night on the town. The point here is to make it so that he will need a drink of water immediately upon waking up the next morning. If your friend isn't a drinker or just isn't in the mood to go out to the bar the night before April Fools Day, don't despair. Simply go out for pizza, wings or any salty food. He'll be craving that glass of water first thing in the morning.
2. If you live with this particular person, make sure that he goes to bed before you do. If he doesn't, convince him to spend the night at your home. Once he has fallen asleep, take the alcohol, water filters and pitcher to a place where you won't be seen.
3. Insert the first filter and pour your alcohol through it. Once you have put as much alcohol as you desire into the pitcher, run it through the filter again. Then, replace that filter with your second one and repeat the process. The point here is to take away that cloudy look that many clear alcohols, such as vodka or gin, can have. Filtering your alcohol can also eliminate enough of the foul odor that your friend won't get a whiff of it upon pouring the liquid into the glass.
4. Be sure to wake up before your friend does so you can enjoy the April Fools Day prank. To make sure that your friend falls for the joke, pour yourself a “glass of water” first. Only pour one for him if he asks. Otherwise, he may get suspicious. Then, simply sit back and enjoy his reaction.
