How to Make a Rose Cone With Gum Paste

• Sugar gum paste
• Wire stem

1. Take a piece of gum paste and roll it into a small ball. The ball should be about the diameter of a penny.

2. Next, smooth the ball on one side, to form a cone shape. This can be done by molding the gum paste with your fingers to create the spherical shape.

3. Insert the wire stem into the center of the cone.

4. Allow the gum paste cone to dry for several hours. When dry, the petals can be added, one by one around the cone.
