How to Create a Windsor Knot Dimple

1. Begin by lifting the collar of your shirt. You can use a mirror if you want to monitor your progress.

2. Place the tie around your neck. Leave about 12 inches on the wide side.

3. Cross the wide side over the narrow side to create an opening.

4. Take the wide side and slip it through the opening from behind.

5. Cross the wide side over the narrow side again. Move the wide side to the left.

6. Take the wide side and cross to the right.

7. Go back through the opening.

8. There should now be a second opening. The wide side should go through this opening.

9. To create the perfect dimple, take the loose knot you've created and squeeze it toward your neck. Make sure the dimple and the knot are straight.
