Soak 2 cups of feed corn in water for 24 to 48 hours to soften it. One bag of feed corn will last you the whole fishing season and maybe next season too!

Put softened corn into a small sauce pan with 4 tablespoons of water.

    • 3

Add 1/4 cup of sugar to the sauce pan.

    • 4

Add 2 tablespoons of vanilla extract.

    • 5

Cook your corn bait mixture over medium heat for 10 to 15 minutes to melt the sugar and allow the corn to soak in the flavors of the sugar and vanilla.

    • 6

Use your corn bait as chum in the water before you cast. Sprinkle a small handful of corn bait in the area where you are going to cast your line. Then string four to five pieces of corn on your hook and wait for the fish to snap it up!
