How to Make Triple Chocolate Almond Mocha Brownies

Chocolate. Almonds. Coffee. Are these three of your favorite things? Combine these items with a brownie recipe and you have Triple Chocolate Almond Mocha Brownies. These rich, gooey brownies are easy to make and serve 16 to 24, depending upon how the brownies are cut.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate liqueur
  • 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup cocoa
  • 2 tablespoons instant coffee granules
  • 6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cups slivered almonds or chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
  • Cooking spray
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Spoon
  • Measuring cups
  • Measuring spoons
  • Sifter or large metal strainer
  • 9x13 inch baking pan

    How to Make Triple Chocolate Almond Mocha Brownies

  1. Step 1

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray the 9x13 inch baking pan with cooking spray and set aside.

  2. Step 2

    Measure the vegetable oil and pour into the mixing bowl. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well between each egg. Add the extracts and liqueur and mix well.

  3. Step 3

    Measure flour, sugar, salt, cocoa and coffee granules into sifter or metal strainer. Sift or tap strainer to sift the dry ingredients into the bowl. Mix until ingredients are blended, but do not over mix. Fold in chocolate chips.

  4. Step 4

    Pour the batter into the 9x13 baking pan. Sprinkle the nuts on top of the batter. Place in the preheated oven and cook for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool before cutting.

  • Adjust the amount of chocolate chips to your taste.
