  • another surge protector

Step1
PC strip that most poeple have Your bored and want to get on the computer, or you were on the computer and all of a sudden it went off. Either way narrowing down the problem can take some time. The first thing you want to do is check your surge protector. To do this you will need to get down so it's easier to see.
Step2
After you make your way under the desk to it, first make sure it's plugged in. If it is, see if the light is on. If the light on your surge protector is not, try flipping the switch if it has one or pressing the reset button.
Step3
If this does not work and the light does still not come on, then unplug it and use another surge protector to test the plug-in. If it works than the other is broken, if it doesn't the plug needs replaced.
Step4
New models If the light still comes on and it won't power up anything, use another one and see if it works properly. If it does then it's time to replace the old one with a new one. Which is best if your surge protector is old anyway.

Tips & Warnings
