- blush
- MAC #138 Brush- Tapered Face Brush
- blush brush

Step 1
Apply foundation. Before you start contouring your cheeks, you want to apply foundation and concealer. This will create the perfect canvas to work with.
-
Step 2
Contour the hollows of your cheeks. Using the darker color in your MAC Sculpt and Shape Duo, you are going to contour the hollows of your cheeks. Dip the side of your MAC #138 brush in the darker shade. Suck your cheeks in to locate the hollows of your cheek. This is also known as making a fish face. Once you locate the hollows, brush on the darker shade. Take it from the hollow of your cheek bone up toward your temples. Repeat the same procedure on your other cheek.
-
Step 3
Blend it. Once you’ve contoured the hollows of your cheeks, you want to inspect how it looks. If there are harsh lines, use a brush to blend the contouring powder into your skin. The goal of contouring is to create a shadow which adds definition to your natural features. Harsh lines will destroy what you are trying to accomplish.
-
Step 4
Highlight your cheekbone. Once the hollows of your cheeks are contoured, it’s time to add some extra dimension with the highlighter. Take the tip of your MAC #138 brush and dip it in the lighter shade of your duo. Apply the light shade to the top of the cheekbone. It should give a slight shimmery effect. However, if you want to accomplish a glowier look, use an iridescent powder over the light shade of the MAC duo. Repeat the procedure on your other cheek.

Step 5
Apply blush. Once your cheek bones are contoured, it’s time to apply blush. Select your favorite blush and dip your blush brush in it. Smile and apply the blush to the apples of your cheeks. You’re done. Take a look in the mirror and admire those chiseled cheek bones!
