How to Highlight Brown Eyes

Brown eyes are a thing of true beauty. They can radiate a golden hue if they are highlighted in the correct way. Show your brown eyes off the best way possible. Follow these easy steps to highlight your brown eyes.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 well lit mirror
  • 1 four-pack green eyeshadow
  • 1 olive eyeliner
  • 1 black mascara
  • make-up brushes

    It's Time to Sparkle

  1. Step 1

    Apply the medium shade of green eye shadow to your complete eye lid to start highlighting your brown eyes. Evenly cover the skin from the lash line to the eyebrow.

  2. Step 2

    Use the darkest shadow of green eyeshadow in the four-pack to cover the area of the eye lid from the lash line to the crease. Blend at the crease. This will draw attention to your brown eyes with a splash of the dramatic.

  3. Step 3

    Use the lightest shade of green eyeshadow to highlight your brown eyes. Apply this shade at the arch of your eyebrow and at the inside corner of your eye.

  4. Step 4

    Finish highlighting your brown eyes by applying olive eyeliner to the bottom eyelid and apply mascara to the top lashes. The will frame your highlighted brown eyes beautifully.

Tips & Warnings
  • Green eyeshadow will bring out the golden hues in your brown eyes. Another great color to use is purple.
  • Using a shimmer eyeshadow to highlight brown eyes will not work if your eyes have wrinkles. The shimmer will make the wrinkles look bigger. Use matte eyeshadow instead.
