Things You'll Need:
- Braid Remover
- Shampoo
- Towel
- Comb
- Trash Can
-
Step 1
Shampoo your hair to loosen up the braids about 3-4 times in a day. Then spray the braids with the braid remover.
-
Step 2
Go through the braids and light pull them at the roots to see which ones are loose. Some of the braids will slid off since you've loosened them with the spray and shampooing.
-
Step 3
Start in the center of your head when you begin removing them. Simply take the comb and unknot them and comb the braid out when you reach the beginning the braid will slip out.

on 6/27/2009 you can also spray the hair overnite with some oilsheen and apply some hair conditioner. place a plastic shower cap overnite. your body heat along with this mixture will aid in braid removal the next day

on 4/5/2009 Great article, you should also try the Take Down Removal Cream. It really makes it faster and easier to get tiny micro braids out. You can take down 4-5 braids at one time after you put the cream on your hair and braids. Also if you left your braids in tooo long, Take Down softens and detangles really matted hair. cheers
