As winter approaches and the snow hasn't yet fallen on the ground, kids will need a wide variety of winter wonderland crafts to entertain them.   • Non-toxic Paint
  • Cotton Balls
  • Double Stick Tape
  • Snow Cone Kit
  • Thread
  • Sewing Needles
  • Popcorn
  • Cranberries
  • Construction paper

    How to Make Winter Wonderland Crafts

  1. Step 1

    Make a winter wonderland picture. Grab several pieces of construction paper, cotton balls, markers, glitter and non-toxic paint kits for kids. Let the kids have a ball. Tell them That they are creating a winter wonderland picture and should create a winter scene.

  2. Step 2

    Create frosty the snowman crafts with cotton balls. Take three cotton balls and use a small piece of double stick tape to tape them together.

  3. Step 3

    Make snow cones. Purchase a snow cone kit from a local store. It should include a snow cone machine, cups and flavors for the ice. This is a fun winter treat. For extra fun, have the kids decorate snow cone cups for the snow cones.

  4. Step 4

    Make popcorn and cranberry strings. This craft requires adult supervision. Pop a bowl of popcorn and a plate or bowl of cranberries. Thread a needle with a long piece of thread and put a piece of popcorn through the needle onto the thread. Then do the same with a cranberry. Repeat until the thread is full, then tie the string to an outdoors staircase or low tree branch.
