How to do the Double Penny Magic Trick

This is a variation on the classic penny disappearing trick.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging

Instructions

Step 1

Place one penny in each open palm, face up, to show any spectators. Have one penny with the "tail" side up and one with the "head" side up.
Step 2

Flip your hands very quickly against the table to turn the pennies over. However, at this point, you must very quickly throw the penny from one hand to the other.
Step 3

Ask the spectators to tell you which penny will be tails and which will be heads. They will point to the opposite hands than they started in. But at this point, both pennies will be under one hand.
Step 4

Once the spectators have made their guesses, lift the hand that no longer has pennies under it. Then lift the other hand to reveal the location of the two pennies.
