How to get golden guns in Call of Duty 4

In the game Call of Duty 4 for PC, Playstation 3 or Xbox 360 you can unlock 6 different golden guns for use in online play. This handy article will simply tell you how to do it and what the advantages are.

1. Call of Duty 4 is all about a quick trigger finger and strategy. A good gun helps too. This article with assist on the part where you get a good gun.
2. Now, to begin, you have to pick a section you would like to work on. These sections are included in the create-a-class part of the online play. The part you need to remember is that only certain guns can be unlocked as golden. These include the golden AK-47, the golden desert eagle, the golden Mini-uzi, the golden Dragunov Sniper Rifle, the golden M60 which is a light machine gun, and finally the golden M1014 which is a shotgun.
3. The Golden AK-47 To unlock the golden AK-47 you need to finish all the headshot or expert requirements for the assault class. This means all the guns must have their 3 expert headshot requirements done. Then you get the golden AK-47. This gun is especially handy when used with the slight of hand or double tap power-up.
4. Golden Desert Eagle To unlock the Golden Desert Eagle, simply reach the rank/level of 55 or commander. The golden desert eagle is especially handy when used as a pistol or back-up weapon.
5. Golden M1014 Shotgun To unlock the golden M1014 Shotgun, you need to complete all the expert or headshot requirements in the shotgun class. Once completed you unlock the golden M1014 shotgun which is extremely powerful.
6. Golden Dragunov Sniper Rifle To unlock the golden Dragunov sniper rifle, complete the headshot/expert requirements for every gun in the sniper class. This unlocks the golden sniper. It is extremely powerful. Use with the Iron Lungs powerup for extreme accuracy.
7. Golden Mini Uzi To unlock the golden Mini-Uzi complete all the expert/headshot requirements for the sub-machine gun class. This unlock the golden Mini-uzi. In my opinion, this is one of the best golden guns. If you use it with the powerups: Bandolier, Slight of Hand, Deep Impact. This setup is especially powerful when you use the gun with a silencer. It is amazing accurate and deadly at close range.
8. Golden M60 Light Machine Gun To unlock the golden M60 Light Machine Gun, complete all the headshot/expert requirements for all the guns in the Light Machine Gun Class. It is a very powerful gun, though it can be difficult to aim or move quickly with it.
9. Now that you know how to unlock the golden guns, get to it and soon you can be an extremely deadly and accurate gamer.

Tips & Warnings

• For sniper rifle's, hold on to the steady breath key so for awhile until it is completely steady for an extremely accurate shot.
• Try not to die....common sense.
• There is a good chance it will take you awhile to get the golden guns so be patient.
