JDate is the largest on-line dating site that is devoted to Jewish singles. However, being Jewish isn't a requirement for using the site. Singles of all faiths are welcome to join JDate and to search for their ideal dating matches.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

    Join JDate

  1. Step 1

Join JDate. There is a free membership that allows you to use a few limited features on the site. The free membership allows people to search for their matches and to create a short user profile. To have access to features such as a private email account to contact other members, sign up for one of the paid memberships. There are different membership plans to choose from. Pick the one that gives you the features you want and fits your budget.

  2. Step 2

Fill out your profile. The profile has several sections devoted to religion. Members are free to choose from any of the religions represented. Be honest about both your religious preference and your level of commitment. Both will be a part of your profile. There is also the option of saying that you would be willing to convert to Judaism. For some members, these questions will be the deciding factor as to whether you are their match.

  3. Step 3

Look for your match. Looking for a match doesn't require that you're Jewish. Search for your own criteria, but notice the criteria of the people who come up in your search. Make a short list of matches that interest you and that you believe will be interested in you.

  4. Step 4

Send a message to everyone on your short list. If their profile does not mention whether they will date a gentile, mention it in your message to make sure that they understand. This common courtesy may go a long way toward showing that you are sensitive toward others religious preferences. It will also show that you are courteous and honest with those you are interested in.
