Thanksgiving is a time to gather with friends and family and reminisce about the past and eat delicious family recipes. Regardless of whether your are overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, or tanning on the West Coast, your house can be converted to create a homey traditional Thanksgiving celebration.

  • Colorful leaves
  • Cornucopias
  • Gourds
  • Corns
  • Drawings
  • Tape
  • Pumpkins
  • Cinnamon
  • Oranges
  • Water
  • Pot

    Decorate Your Home for Thanksgiving

  1. Step 1

    Hang fall foliage around the house. The vibrant fall colors will set the mood for Thanksgiving season.

  2. Step 2

    Fill a cornucopia with gourds, pumpkins, and colorful dried corns. This creates a wonderful centerpiece for the dining room table.

  3. Step 3

    Simmer oranges and cinnamon in a pot. This aroma creates a warm, comfortable feeling during Thanksgiving time.

  4. Step 4

    Hang children's art work throughout the house. Colorful turkeys, pilgrims, Indians and mayflowers remind us of our own childhood. Original decorations make a home extremely welcoming.
