When hot weather hits, people turn to sweet tea for refreshment. By the end of summer though, this drink loses it appeal. It doesn't have to be this way. Sweet tea can be different every time you prepare it.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Mix it with lemonade. One of the easiest way to flavor sweet tea is to mix it with lemonade. Pour half a glass of lemonade and then fill the rest of the glass with sweet tea. This combination is tangy, yet unbelievably sweet and delicious.
Step2
Add fruit puree. If you want a completely different taste, add fruit purees. With fruit purees, you can create a new flavor every day of the week. Plus, you can prepare several different purees and allow guests to choose their favorite.
Step3
Stir in flavored syrups. Flavored syrups aren't just for coffee. They're also a wonderful way to flavor sweet tea. Be creative and choose a flavor you never would have thought about using in sweet tea. For example, add French vanilla or caramel syrup.
Step4
Consider adding mint or ginger. If you want something simple, that doesn't overpower the drink, consider adding crushed mint or grated ginger. This is the perfect choice if you're drinking sweet tea with your meal.
