Grease a small casserole dish with butter to place the finished fudge in. This is done in preparation so the fudge doesn’t get scorched while greasing the dish or began to harden in the pan.

  2. Step 2
Stir fudge constantly to prevent scorching.

Tips & Warnings
  • This is soft fudge it will get hard enough to pick up but will remain squishy.
  • This fudge is also delicious straight from the pot.
  • For a sleep-over treat allow children to make fudge (constant supervision to prevent children and fudge from getting burned). Allow the children to eat some of the fudge with a spoon before it hardens, then enjoy the hardened fudge as a treat after lunch!
