Things You'll Need:
- Slow cooker
- 1 pound of boneless beef chuck roast
- 1 cup water
- 1 Medium onion, chopped
- 1 Package of Taco Seasoning
- 16 ounces Taco Sauce
- Pre-made Taco shells, or corn tortillas for soft tacos
- Shredded Lettuce
- Shredded Cheese
- Tomato, chopped
- Sour Cream
- Salsa

Step 1
Chuck Roast in Slow CookerBegin by preparing the chuck roast for cooking. The use of a slow cooker can make this meal much easier to prepare, as well as ensuring that the beef will be tender and moist. Place the beef and chopped onion into the slow cooker, and then mix the water and taco seasoning in a separate bowl. Once it is mixed thoroughly, pour it over the beef and onion in the slow cooker.

Cook beef in slow cooker on LOW for 6-8 hours, or on HIGH for 4 hours. Cooking time may vary, so be sure to cook the roast until it is tender. Once it is finished, remove it from the slow cooker and place it on a cutting board or other cooking surface.

Shredded beefNext, shred the beef apart with two forks. The meat should be tender, which can help with the shredding process.

Pre-made taco shellsFill pre-made taco shells or warmed corn tortilla with the shredded meat.

Add toppings such as lettuce, tomato, cheese, salsa and sour cream to the taco and serve.
