Want to make your own turkey call without having to spend a ton of money in doing so? Here are the keys to making the cheapest, easiest, and the last turkey call you will ever need.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • -Piece of old chalkboard slate
  • -Skinny wooden dowel
  • -Piece of Fine Sandpaper

    Cheap and easy turkey call

  1. Step 1

Take your old chalkboard slate and cut it into a circle. The circular shape allows you to hold the slate between your index finger and thumb. Therefore allow a megaphone like shape for the sound to be projected from.

  2. Step 2

Using your sandpaper, sharpen your wooden dowel to a dull rounded point.

  3. Step 3

Using the same sandpaper rough up the slate. This helps increase the amounts of calls you can do.

  4. Step 4

After sanding is complete, you are finished and ready to go out to the woods and give it a try.
