While Vampire’s Delight may be the name of fan fiction by rabid goth writers as well as a song by Ray Shakked, it’s the name given to some popular holiday cocktails. Of course, it’s an ideal cocktail for a Halloween party or a movie night when you’re screening The Hunger or Lost Boys.(These delightful cocktails are not to be confused with a labor-intensive Filipino main dish, also called Vampire’s Delight, which consists, among many other ingredients, ½ kilo pork intestines, four tablespoons sugar and three cups fresh pig’s blood. The latter is cut with a ½ cup vinegar so it doesn’t curdle. Seriously.)The main Vampire’s Delight Cocktail listed here is a creamy, milk-shake style yummy delight; a great dessert.
