Salsa music is one of the most energizing type of music that is used for dancing and background mood setting for parties. Choosing salsa music for a playlist is fun and easy to do. It's just a matter of finding what type of salsa music you want to include in your very own salsa playlist!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Look through your local yellow pages to see if you can find a place where they teach people how to salsa. You can ask to contact the teacher to see what kind of music they use to make their salsa playlist. Salsa dance teachers may be a great resource to have when discovering salsa music, especially if you are new to the genre of music.

  2. Step 2

Go to your local bookstore or even library to browse through the different types of salsa music that is in stock. Usually they will have listings of the best selling salsa music or most popular CDs pertaining to this genre. If you are still unsure if the music selection, book stores usually have listening booths where you can sample the music. This is an excellent way to narrow down your choices of salsa music to put on your personalized salsa playlist.

  3. Step 3

Create a playlist on your computer, once you have chosen the songs you want on your playlist. Usually you will have a CD creator program on your computer which will help you assemble your playlist and burn it onto a CD or transfer it into your mp3 player. Now you can enjoy the salsa music in your car or everywhere you go on your portable music player.
