How to Make Spells

Is there anything you have ever wanted or needed that the Universe is slow to provide? Do you desire to find a better job, locate the soul mate that you are destined to be with or do you need your family protected from outside sources? Making a Wicca spell can give you the piece of mind that is desired as well as bring good luck to you and your family. In a few steps, this will be at your fingertips.

Instructions

  1. Preparing to Make the Spell

    • 1

Gather paper, a pencil, three candles, and any herbs and oils needed for your particular spell and find a quiet, peaceful room. The color white is the purest form of candles. However, any candles that give you relaxation will do fine (see Resources below for more candle information). The room needs to be free from children, spouse, music or television.

    • 2

Undress once you are isolated from the other parts of the home. This step is not completely necessary. However when gathering the energy from the Universe some people feel that clothes are restrictive. The spell that you are creating may work more efficiently if this step is completed.

    • 3

Place the candles directly in front of you in a triangle. Light them and then turn off any excess lighting. Feel the energy from the candles. Stare at them; watch the smoke protrude from them, then close your eyes.

    • 4

Meditate. Meditation is vital to make a successful spell. If you have never meditated before, this may require some practice. With your eyes closed, clear all thoughts in the mind. Visibly picture a white light. Run this through your body. As the light begins in your head use your hands to pull away the negative energy. Start at the top of your body and move down slowly through to your toes. When the light has consumed your body, meditation will be complete. This process should take roughly 30 minutes.

    • 5

Keep the candles lit. This will be enough light to write the spell effectively. The first part of the spell should be the tools you will need for the specific spell that you will cast. Candles, herbs, water and oils can all be helpful to the style you are seeking. See Resources below for a link to an Herb Chart.

    Writing the Spell

    • 6

Write your spell. By now you should have an idea of what you are trying to achieve. It is important to understand what types of candles or herbs can help in designing a spell for your needs. White may be used for purifyification or peace. Black can symbolize protection or release of negativity. Blue equals wisdom and creativity. You may wish to write down the types of help that are available before you begin Step 1.

    • 7

Begin the body of the spell with "I call on the Goddesses and Gods of the Universe." There are specific deities that may help with the style of spell that you are creating. Isis is the Goddess of mother, family and healing. Pan is the God of primal energy and sexuality. See Resources below for a link to a Guide to Common Deities.

    • 8

Write the body of the spell. This needs to be precise, clear and straightforward. The meaning of the words that are written will explain exactly what you are trying to accomplish. Fancy or long-winded phrases are unnecessary. While you are writing the words, feel the energy flow from you into the pencil and on to the piece of paper. It is essential to be direct at what you are trying to convey to the Universe.

    • 9

End the spell with a word of thanks to the Universe, the Gods or Goddesses that assisted in creating the spell. It may read something like this, "Thank you Goddesses and Gods of the Universe for your divine control. Bless it be." If specific deities were summoned, thank them by name.

Tips & Warnings

  • A spell that was created to harm, control or maintain another person will have dire consequences.
