Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1/2 cup caramel ice cream topping
  • 1/4 cup unsalted peanuts
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups canned apple pie filling
  • 1 1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 3 packages (8 oz. each) cream cheese
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  1. Step 1

Preheat your oven 350 degrees F. In a bowl, mix together the melted butter and graham cracker crumbs. Use a spoon to press the mixture into a springform pan that has been greased. Bake the crust for 8 minutes and let cool. Set the crust aside.

  2. Step 2

Combine sugar, cream cheese, eggs and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl. For best results, use an electric mixer. If mixing by hand, stir vigorously until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

  3. Step 3

Pour the mixture onto the pie crust and bake for approximately 45 minutes. Baking time may vary depending on your oven. Remove from the oven and refrigerate for 2 1/2 hours to cool. Use a knife to free the edges of the cheesecake from the pan and remove the pan’s rim.

  4. Step 4

Spread the apple pie filling evenly over the top of the cheesecake. Finely chop the peanuts and sprinkle them onto the cheesecake. Drizzle the cake with caramel ice cream topping.

  5. Step 5

Serve immediately, or refrigerate until needed.
