Got your Wii? Good. Got the hottest fighting game on it? Great. Now let's cover one of the easier aspects of getting a good fight going in Super Smash Bros. Brawl--selecting a stage.
Turn on your television and your Wii, then insert your Super Smash Bros. Brawl game into your Wii console and start the game.

Press "A" to go the game mode selection screen.

Choose "Group" mode. Stages can be selected in some parts of "Solo" mode, but the same rules apply in both modes, so don't worry.

Review the choices available to you. The only two that apply here are "Brawl" and "Special Brawl." Don't worry about "Special Brawl"; just choose "Brawl."
Step5
Select your character (or characters) on the character selection screen to move to the next step.
Step6
Choose a stage by moving the selector to the stage you want and press '"A." There are many stages to choose from, so be sure to try several out and see which ones you like best!
