The breakdancing drop is one of many moves you should learn when creating a routine. There are different types of drops, but each should be done with precision and respect for proper form. The only way to improve your breakdancing skills is through practice and dedication to the art form.

Things You'll Need:

  • Large sheet of cardboard
  • Adequate space for practice
  • Energetic music

    How to Do Breakdancing Drops

  1. Step 1

    Find an area where you can move around easily.

  2. Step 2

    Practice on a flat surface or use a large piece of cardboard to practice drops and other breakdancing moves.

  3. Step 3

    Wait for the music to start.

  4. Step 4

    Take your left leg and put it behind your right leg.

  5. Step 5

    Bend both knees and fall slowly onto your left leg into the drop.

  6. Step 6

    As you raise both legs, go into a full-body spin.

Tips & Warnings
  • Always wear comfortable shoes so you can practice for longer periods of time.
  • Choose music you're familiar with so you can create a routine.
