How to Gocery Shop with Twin Toddlers

  1. Step 1

Choose times when the grocery store won't be crowded. Selecting non-peak days/hours will allow you to concentrate and maneuver through the aisles without the added stress of impatient shoppers getting in your way.

  2. Step 2

Make sure your twin toddlers are well rested. Inadequate amounts of rest in toddlers can lead to irritability--and can easily escalate into crying fits or temper tantrums.

  3. Step 3

Park next to the shopping cart return. This will enable you to easily access a buggy before you remove your children from the car.

  4. Step 4

Bring a few toys that children don't get to play with everyday. This will keep your toddlers occupied and minimize their desire to do things like toss food items out of the buggy.

  5. Step 5

Use a list. The last thing you want to do when you're grocery shopping with twin toddlers is lollygag. Using a list will allow you to get in, grab what you need, and get out as quickly as possible.
