- 8 oz. self rising flour
- 3 oz. sugar
- 3 oz. currents
- 3 oz. margarine
- 1 oz. orange peel, grated
- 1 egg
- Small amount of milk
- Mixing bowl
- Greased baking sheet
How to Bake Rock Buns
Add the flour and sugar to the mixing bowl and stir in.
Rub in the margarine until the mixture consists of smooth crumbs.
Stir in the currants and grated peel.
Beat the egg and add a little milk.
Add the egg and milk to the flour and mix into a stiff dough.
Divide into 14 even mounds and put onto the baking sheet.
Bake in the oven at 450 F for about 20 minutes.
