Use a garden rake and pruners to clear the area of any unwanted brush. The ground does not have to be cleared completely, any grass growing can stay.

Wild flowers come in all shapes and sizes and are usually planted by bulk seeding. Care should be taken in placement of the original garden as many wild flowers will spread seeds in the wind. Don't plant too close to any other garden.
