How to Make Lemon Garlic Chicken in the Crock Pot

If you are looking for a delicious healthy meal for your family than this is the one. It's easy to set up before you leave for work in the morning. Then you come home to the aroma of garlic and chicken. All you have to do is scoop it out and serve it to your family. No slaving over a stove, but still able to feed your family a healthy dish. Things You'll Need

  • 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can of chicken broth
  • 3 cloves of garlic grated
  • 2 squirts of lemon juice
  • 1/2 stick of butter
  • dash of salt
  • dash of pepper

Instructions

    • 1

      Cut your butter up in to little slices. Place half of the little slices on the bottom of your crock pot.

      Place chicken on top of the butter and cover with the rest of the butter slices.

      Shake salt and pepper over top of chicken and butter.

      Add chicken broth, garlic, and lemon juice.

    • 5

      Turn your crock pot setting to low and cook for 8 hours.

      Serve hot.

Tips & Warnings

  • You could also add a few uncooked elbow macaroni noodles and a few slices of carrot to the crock pot before turning it on for an even fuller meal all in one dish.

  • Don't tenderize your chicken. It will tenderize on it's on in the crock pot cooking with all the juices.
