How to Make Homemade Blueberry Syrup

  • Glass or Enamel pan
  • Sterilized Jar
  • 3 cups Blueberries
  • 3 cups Sugar
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/4 cup Lemon Juice

      Wash your blueberries well. Remove any pieces of stem or any that seem spoiled. Put them into a food processor and puree for one minute. You can also use a blender if you'd rather.

      Put the puree mix into the pan. Slowly stir in the sugar and water and keep stirring until they're well mixed. Stir regularly and cook for half an hour on medium heat.

      Take the mixture off the heat. Add lemon juice and stir well.

      Strain your syrup through a coffee filter or cheesecloth. Put it into your sterilized jar. Let it cool to a temperature cool enough to eat and serve.
