Krumping is a dance craze that has caught the world by storm. Although originally created and performed in Los Angeles, people all over the world are releasing anger and frustration through krumping. Individuality and confidence are key components to krumping success.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Learn basic krumping moves. Although krumping is about freedom of expression, certain moves are standard to every krumper's "bag of tricks." Watch any krump battle to experience the "popping" and "stomping" that takes place.

  2. Step 2

Put your "game face" on. Krumping is about embodying a "never surrender" attitude. Leave the smiling at home as you prepare your body and mind for dance warfare. Paint your face to create an alter-ego or enhance your mood.

  3. Step 3

Let the rhythm move you. This is not the time for conformity. Listen to the rhythm of the music and let your body take over. It's alright to bump into others or even turn back flips. Remember, krumping is not line dancing.

  4. Step 4

Practice in front of a mirror. This will help develop your dance skills and help transform you into a krumping champion. Your mirror image may even shock you!

  5. Step 5

Join a krumping crew. There is power and unity in krumping with a crew. You feed off each other's energy and experiences. This is the best way to have fun and enjoy krumping to it's fullest.
