Step 1
Go to the helium website.

At the top right of the screen, you will see a link that reads “Join.” Click on that link.

Follow the simple instructions to register on Helium. This will include checking your email to verify the account.

After you are finished registering, you will see a “Write” link toward the top of the page. Click on that link.

This will take you to a drop down menu of “channels” for your article. Scan through it and choose the most appropriate category for your article.

Another drop down box for “sub channels” will appear. Scan through that list and, again, select the appropriate sub channel for your articles. Depending on your subject, you may be taken to many “sub channel” boxes, which you must select from, before you can submit your article to Helium.

Step 7
Follow the site instructions. You will be taken to a “Pick a Title” section. Scan through the titles and pick the most appropriate one under which to submit your article. You may want to click on the links to some of the articles under those titles, to make sure that your article is appropriate for it.

Click on the "write now" link.

Step 9
Write your article in the box, check the little box at the end (stating that your article is your own creation) and hit the link that reads: “Publish.”
