- Nunchucks

Step 1
Hold your nunchucks in your right hand with your hand near the top--where the rope is connected. Leg your nunchuck-hang behind your shoulder.

Step 2
Practice rotating your wrist in a way that will cause your nunchucks to spin. Try to spin your nunchuck in a circle in front of your hand so that you don't strike your body.

Step 3
As you spin your nunchucks, move your hand downwards in an arch. Then move your hand upwards.

Step 4
Finish this motion with your arm across your chest and your nunchucks behind your left shoulder.

Step 5
Reverse the motion, spinning your nunchucks and moving it downwards in an arching fashion and upwards until you are able to swing it up and behind your right shoulder.

Step 6
Increase the speed in which you perform these movements gradually. Speed is essential in the performance of this technique.
