How to Make Blueberry Vanilla Smoothies

Nothing goes together better than vanilla and blueberries. They are the inspiration behind this easy to make smoothie. Kids love them and they love to help make them. Not only do they taste great, but each kid gets 1 full serving of fruits and one full serving of dairy. Does this Spark an idea?

Things You'll Need

  • 15-20 frozen blueberries
  • 1 6oz cup of vanilla yogurt
  • 4 cubes of ice
  • 1 splash of pineapple juice
  • 1 tbs of honey

Instructions

      Set your blender up. This is much easier than trying to combine all the ingredients in a mixing bowl. You can just drop one ingredient at a time directly in to the blender.

      Add blueberries, vanilla yogurt, pineapple juice, honey, and ice to the blender.

      Place the lid on your blender and turn to high. Continue blending until all the ice and blueberry chunks are gone and the drink is smooth.

      Pour in to a serving glass. This is optional, but you can add a little umbrella to the glass for decoration.

      Serve cold.

Tips & Warnings

  • Blueberries and cream are a great combination so feel free to add a little cream to your smoothie.
