How to Make an Egg and Ham Sandwich

One of the classic American breakfast foods is the egg and ham sandwich. You can order one in almost every diner that has a breakfast menu and now you can enjoy it in the comfort and convenience of your own home. It’s quick and easy to make and requires very little clean-up. Read on to learn how to make an egg and ham sandwich.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Two eggs
  • A slice of ham
  • Cheddar cheese
  • Olive oil
  • Butter
  • Two slices of bread
  • Ground black pepper
  • Seasoned salt
  • Two skillets
  1. Step 1

    Oil two skillets and heat on medium for about two minutes.

  2. Step 2

    Begin to toast two pieces of sliced bread.

  3. Step 3

    Add ham to one skillet and let cook 30 to 60 seconds before flipping.

  4. Step 4

    Crack two eggs over the second skillet, stir, and add ground black pepper and seasoned salt.

  5. Step 5

    When the toast is down, butter both piece and set on a plate.

  6. Step 6

    Add eggs and ham to one piece of toast. Top with cheddar.

  7. Step 7

    Let the sandwich sit closed so that the cheese can melt. Enjoy!

Tips & Warnings
  • You can also spread mayo on the toast or add some hot sauce to spice things up.
