So you had a vegan wedding. This is what comes next. Celebrating your new life together as husband and wife is something that should be planned carefully so that you have the time of your life. A honeymoon should literally be just that, the best time of your life. You don't want to start your new life with worry or by going against your beliefs. Therefore, a little planning in advance is needed for the perfect vegan honeymoon. Read on to learn how to have a vegan honeymoon.

Instructions

    • 1

Create a honeymoon log and journal. This will help in your planning, and making sure that every detail is planned in advance to ensure that you truly have a vegan honeymoon.

    • 2

Call ahead to all restaurants that you intend to frequent on your honeymoon. Ask in advance about all their vegan choices when making reservations. Knowing what your choices are can help you when you arrive at the restaurant, and it saves the waiter from doing a lot of extra running around. Be prepared and patient at restaurants. They can be a tough place for the employees who spend their days serving others who are often ungrateful.

    • 3

Consider spending your first week as a married couple at a vegan bed and breakfast. These places often have a luxurious room where you can get ultimate privacy and relaxation. A honeymoon is often not a time when you are focusing on the outdoor activities, and knowing that all the vegan food that you could want is in close proximity can help you focus on your own honeymoon priorities in starting your new love life together.

    • 4

Pack all the clothes and accessories you will need for your honeymoon. His will prevent last minute rushes to the store. It can be time consuming to find vegan options at some honeymoon locales. Being well-prepared puts the guess work out of being a vegan.

    • 5

Keep in mind the needs of your spouse. If you are vegan while your loved on is not, make sure that they are able to indulge in all their favorite foods as well. This can be a compromise on places to eat, but you will soon learn that much of marriage is compromise. You can both get what you want, just not all the time.

Tips & Warnings

  • Be kind and patient to waiters. Many are unfamiliar with the vegan ideals, and they are doing their best to help you along with the dozens of other customers they are likely waiting on at the same time. Do everything you can to make their job easier while getting the answers that you need.

  • Don't worry if you slip up. Get right back on track.

This was the MOST pointless article I have ever read! I was so excited to find it thinking, "Wow! Now we'll know where to go in order to have a nice vegan honeymoon!" But no. It just told us to do the things we do every day as vegans. LAME. WASTE OF TIME.
