Fajitas are a popular and versatile dish. They can be made in a wide variety of ways depending on personal taste. One of the more popular methods are spicy chicken fajitas. And in order to keep you from having to go to a sit-down restaurant or order out in order to eat this, the following steps tell you everything you need to know to prepare them yourself. Now you can have these fajitas anytime you want.

Things You'll Need:

  • Skinless chicken breast, tortillas, olive oil, garlic powder, chili power, whole onion, whole red and green bell peppers, hot sauce, meat tenderizer, cutting boards, one habanero

    How to Make Spicy Chicken Fajitas

  1. Step 1

    Beat both sides of the chicken breast, depending on thickness, for approximately 2 to 5 minutes.

  2. Step 2

    Slice the chicken into thin strips.

  3. Step 3

    Season chicken with garlic and chili powder. Lightly sprinkle on hot sauce. Set aside.

  4. Step 4

    Heat a skillet on medium and add your preferred amount of olive oil.

  5. Step 5

    On a clean cutting board, chop your red and green bell peppers and onion.

  6. Step 6

    Add the chicken to the skillet and let brown.

  7. Step 7

    Add diced vegetables and stir.

  8. Step 8

    Chop the habanero and add to skillet.

  9. Step 9

    Stir again, adding more seasoning if desired.

  10. Step 10

    Warm tortillas on a separate skillet and enjoy!

Tips & Warnings
  • Either wear protective gloves when handling the habanero or wash your hands thoroughly afterwards. Avoid touching your eyes or other sensitive areas.
