How to Assemble a Lawn Sprayer

In order to craft a perfect lawn, certain steps must be taken for it's maintenance. Aeration, fertilizing, pest and weed control are all essential in a lawn care regimen. The average gardener has a number of tools at his disposal to make some of these tasks easier. A lawn sprayer is a handy device, and simple to assemble. How can you go wrong?

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Check the box the pump action lawn sprayer came in carefully to make sure all the parts listed are inside. Check to make sure none of the parts are damaged as well.

  2. Step 2

    Remove the parts of the sprayer, and if your sprayer comes with them, the instructions. Review the instructions for any warnings or tips that may make assembly easier.

  3. Step 3

    Take the top lid portion and screw it onto the jug. This is the portion that gives you the pressure for spraying effectively.

  4. Step 4

    Attach the sprayer wand to the hose. Make sure this is well sealed and secured. Leaks in a sprayer filled with chemicals could be very dangerous.

  5. Step 5

    Give your sprayer a test run with some water once you have assembled it. Check for any leaks, and adjust the wand nozzle to the desired spray pattern.

  • Don't attach the wand and lid too tightly.
  • Always exercise caution when working with chemicals.
