1. On the top of your camera, switch the mode dial to the video-recording mode. The symbol looks like a video camera.

2. Turn your camera on and get area to be recorded in focus.

3. When you are ready to begin recording, press the shutter-release button. The microphone is built in to the camera, so it is best to just use the camera for short-range recording if you want the sound included in the video.

4. When you are ready to stop recording, press the shutter-release button again. This stops the recording.

5. You can view your video in playback mode on your camera.
