- 1/2 teaspoon each salt and pepper

- A tablespoon
- A measuring cup
- A teaspoon
- A whisk
-
Step 1
Making your low-carb Alfredo sauce will be easier if you already have all of your ingredients measured and ready to go.
-
Step 2
The first thing you need to do when you are making a low-carb Alfredo sauce is to melt the butter. The best way to melt the butter is to put all three tablespoons of butter directly into your sauce pan and turn the heat on.
-
Step 3
If you are someone who likes the taste of onion and/or garlic you should add them to your melting butter and let them sauté for a minute or two. One word of caution, do not turn your back on the garlic, it only takes it a second to burn, and once it burns it tastes terrible and you will have to start all over.
-
Step 4
Once the butter has melted and the garlic and onion are nicely sautéed you should add the rest of your ingredients. You don’t have to worry about adding them in any particular order, just dump all of them in together.
-
Step 5
Use your whisk to blend the concoction.
-
Step 6
Allow the Alfredo sauce to simmer for twenty to twenty five minutes. Because it burns easily you should stir the sauce the entire time it is simmering.
-
Step 7
When all the ingredients have blended together you are ready to add the low-carb Alfredo sauce to your favorite dishes.
